Description: Korean Mint, Agastache Rugosa, is an aromatic herb, with licorice scented light green, crinkled, oval shaped, serrated foliage.  It belongs to the mint family, and is originally native to East Asia.  Korean Mint is known by a lot of other names, such as baechohyang, banga, Chinese Patchouli, purple giant hyssop, Indian Mint, and blue licorice.  It has been eaten and used in traditional medicine for centuries.  This low maintenance, deer and rabbit resistant, 3 ft. tall herb produces showy, 2-4 inch spikes of bluish-purple flowers that hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees love.  This plant is pretty drought tolerant, disease and pest resistant, and its flowers look absolutely gorgeous in cut floral arrangements too.  This easy to grow, show stopper will produce beautiful colorful blooms late in the season, while other flowers are fading.
